Bio
She has been drawing since she could hold a pencil. It's a mode of expression that brings her great well-being. She transitioned from pencil to digital because it allows her to go further and faster in her creativity. Her inspirations are women in all their complexities, their struggles, their vulnerability, their postures — especially black women. They are an inexhaustible source of inspiration for her, particularly due to their diversity: their hair textures, their complexions, their hairstyles, their attitudes, their body types. Her work is characterized by the importance given to hairstyles, jewelry, and patterns that add depth to the portraits.
Fatimata — or Famma, as she is called by her family — grew up in Franche-Comté. She has been living in the Paris region for about twenty years. After several years in banking, she decided to turn her passion into her profession. In May 2019, she began sharing her illustrations on Instagram. This was the turning point and the beginning of a promising artistic journey.
Return policy
You can return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We will also pay return shipping if the return is the result of an error on our part (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of your package being delivered to the return sender, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly.
This period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the sender (5-10 business days), the time it takes for us to process your return once we receive it (3-5 business days), and the time needed for your bank to process our reimbursement request (5 to 10 working days).
If you need to return an item, simply log into your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link in the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We will notify you by email of your refund once we have received and processed the returned item.
Delivery
We can ship to virtually any address worldwide. Note that there are restrictions on certain products and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.
When you place an order, we estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.
Please also note that shipping rates for many items we sell are based on weight. The weight of such an item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the nearest full pound.
