Designed in the GOLDEN studio by Sara Efia Reddin, this large contemporary pendant light elevates an artisanal tradition to create a beautiful decorative object.
This natural pendant light is patiently hand-woven using a traditional basket weaving technique from Bolgatanga in northern Ghana. Delicate open-woven stripes diffuse luminous patterns on the walls.
Woven with Veta Vera grass, which is naturally sustainable. This large pendant light is very ostentatious in a living room, above a dining table or in a bedroom.
This pendant light is perfect alone or in combination with other lamps from the collection.
Techniques used to make the large HIGH LIFE L woven pendant light:
Bolgatanga basketry is a traditional African weaving technique. The Veta Vera herb grows locally in Ghana. The reeds are twisted by hand and small quantities are colored using vegetable or food coloring in cauldrons. Variations in color may be observed, making each piece unique.
The weave is tight and smooth. These lamps are woven by an association of basket makers, these artisans have perfected their art to create these contemporary shapes.
This lamp takes 6-7 days to be woven.

Return policy
You can return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We will also pay return shipping if the return is the result of an error on our part (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of your package being delivered to the return sender, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly.
This period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the sender (5-10 business days), the time it takes for us to process your return once we receive it (3-5 business days), and the time needed for your bank to process our reimbursement request (5 to 10 working days).
